A BRISK demand for Holstein Friesians at the Sale Centre, Penrith saw 77 average £1012 and peak at 1800gns for cattle consigned from eight herds.
Top call came from an undisclosed buyer for Derbyshire vendor Charles Coakers calved heifer Supreme Henrietta 29th, a daughter of Etazon Celsius which had a PIN of +£128 – the highest in the catalogue.
Herdmate, the calved heifer Supreme Celsius Steff, made 1750gns to J Goldie, Annan, Dumfriesshire and a red heifer by Renown Factor from the same consignment made 1700gns to R J and S J Kirk, Melton Mowbray, Leics. (Norton and Brooksbank) *
