MEAT and Livestock Commission chairman, Don Curry, has been made a Crown Estate commissioner. Mr Curry will replace John Norris, CBE, joining the Crown Estate board as a part-time, non-executive member. The board oversees the £3.3bn estate, which includes blocks of urban property in Regent Street, London, and almost 120,000ha (300,000 acres) of agricultural land. *
