Coulter pressure varies

Coulter pressure varies

A DOUBLE pressure system on the latest Sulky Uni Disc drills from Reco – both solo and cultivator-mounted – is designed to allow a greater variation in coulter pressure to suit conditions and the degree of penetration required.

This has been done by supplementing the standard spring compression system with a secondary tension spring system under the coulter arms. Manually engaged and disengaged by lever, the springs allow higher coulter pressure when working in heavy soils.

Better maintenance of row spacing is claimed and fitted guide plates prevent coulter arms from wandering, due to the sideways thrust of the coulters. &#42

Latest Sulky Uni Disc drills from 3-6m are fitted with a double pressure system designed for different conditions. Prices are from £11,695 for the 3m model.
