Court for GM protester
A WOMAN has been accused of damaging genetically modified crops in Dorset.
She is due to appear at Bournemouth Magistrates Court on Monday (17 July) afternoon to face a charge of criminal damage.
The woman was one of seven people arrested at Over Compton, near Sherbourne, after protestors began destroying a GM maize trial site.
The six others who were arrested have been released on police bail while inquiries continue.
They will report back to Dorset police next month.
