Court of Justice secret ways

THE European Court of Justice considers any infringement of EU law and questions of interpretation. There are 15 judges, assisted by nine advocates-general.

The courts deliberations are secret and its decisions are final and must be accepted by all parties. The Court of Justice can be approached by the European Commission or member state governments. But individual citizens and companies can also appeal to the court or have their cases in national courts referred to Luxembourg.
