TOP price was 1100gns when Croxden Abbey Farms, Uttoxeter, Staffs dispersed their 180-strong Croxdenabbey herd of Holstein Friesians.

The bid came from E W Blood and Son, Nuneaton for Croxden-abbey Fate 14th, a 7400kg third calver by Etazon Glandorf. The same buyers also paid 1020gns for the second calver Croxden-abbey Emma 8th. (Norton and Brooksbank)
