SEVERAL hundred dairy farmers still havent claimed for their share of agrimoney compensation.
And they risk losing it unless forms are returned promptly, warns the Intervention Board.
“Just under 1000 reminder letters were sent out early last week and there are still about 700 forms left to come in,” says the IB.
The 31 October deadline has been removed and producers are being urged to submit forms as soon as possible.
Those received since 31 October will be paid, if there is time for the IB to process them before the end of the year.
“Inaccuracies in the form-filling slow the process down but, if forms are sent in now, they will be paid.”
