Debate for all-comers
GRASS silage, the way we make and feed it, is still a rapidly developing science.
In recent years much attention has been focused on a whole range of alternative forage crops. Such crops have their place but they should not be allowed to divert thoughts away from what is still the nations main herbage feed.
Coinciding with the first day of Kemira Grassland 96 at the NAC, on May 22, the Institution of Agricultural Engineers is organising a conference designed to encourage all sides of the industry – farmers, engineers and consultants – to take part in a debate on the future of grassland management in the UK.
Conference venue is the Kemira marquee on May 22, with a buffet served from 5pm.
