Dual purpose cultivator targets large-scale user

A RECENT recruit on the Bomford stand was the FieldMaster 400 cultivator designed for both primary and secondary tillage operations.

Intended for areas above 333ha (800 acres), the cultivator can be fitted with different frames and tines by a pin locking system – individual frame sections can be uncoupled and the cultivator reversed away.

For ploughed land, the implement can be specified with front crumbler, optional levelling bar and 12 heavy spring tines. At the rear, a packer roller with scraper can be fitted, or for sticky conditions a crosskill roller.

In uncultivated ground, the FieldMaster can be equipped with a sprung loaded levelling bar. Behind, up to 10 heavy spring or fixed grubber tines can be mounted with a crumbler roller fitted at the rear.

Available in 4m and 6m working widths, the implement has a single SHS beam with brackets for the two wing sections.

Hedgetrimmer scene

On the companys hedgetrimmer scene, changes include the B71M which replaces the existing B65 and an upgraded B80M. Although both machine specifications and prices remain the same, improvements include a beefed-up main frame and king post. Controls are now electric proportional rather than a multi-lever.

For the cutter unit, rotor grease nipples are now external rather than internal for easier access while an anti-wrap cover protects the bearing.

Prices are £12,000 to £15,000. &#42
