East opportunities

CENTRAL and Eastern Europe is one of the fastest developing areas in the world – both agriculturally and economically.

Its influence is already being felt in the west as trade and investment increases. From 2000 its impact will be even more direct, as farm support policies are adapted to accommodate the first five countries lining up to join the EU.

Given the importance of this fast-emerging region, FW is linking up with the Department of Trade and Industry, The East European Trade Council and Midland Bank to present a special evening seminar at Shuttleworth College, Beds, on Oct 6.
