Electric drive for drill

ELECTRIC motor drive is now available to power the distribution heads on Stanhays Rallye 592 sugar beet drill.

Supplied as an option to replace the units existing gearbox/chain and sprocket system, the motors can be varied in speed to allow different seed rates for variable soil types and seed-bed conditions.

The motors are controlled from an in-cab LH Agro control box which is designed to monitor forward speed, area covered, distance travelled and working duration.

Stanhay claims the drill can be adjusted to virtually any tramlining configuration irrespective of row number and spacing. Price is available on application.
