EnCompass navigates NVZs

A NEW nutrient management tool, launched at Cereals, will help growers handle Nitrate Vulnerable Zones, its makers have claimed.

EnCompass will be used by Kemira GrowHow fertiliser reps when advising farmers on nutrient requirements.

The software will tailor N,P,K, and S recommendations exactly to the field and crop requirements.

“Anything, from manure applications to residual N figures, can be built in,” said Kemira arable agronomist Allison Grundy.

“Growers will then get a file they can load straight into their crop-recording software to help with field applications.”

The new software will be demonstrated on the Kemira stand.
