EVENT YOU MUST VISIT FOR SAKE OF BUSINESS

THE UK farming industry is under pressure. The issues are many and the future uncertain. One thing, however, is clear. Whether you have visited the Royal Show or not in the past few years, this year, for the sake of your farm business in particular and the industry in general, a visit is an absolute must.

You can only take the correct business decisions if you have all the facts. Arable, livestock or mixed, whatever the nature of your farming business, the Royal Show is the definitive source of information covering every aspect of your operation.

You will doubtless be considering the best way forward for your business. Whether to invest in new machinery or new buildings, to buy or sell stock, quota or land. What more can you do to maximise profits or cut costs? The Royal Show gives you the information you need to come to decisions about every single aspect of your business, simply because it draws together people from every aspect of farming and related industries.

You can place a real and lasting value on a day spent at the Royal. The information gathered, the ideas exchanged, the ability to assess and compare your farm efficiency and profitability against that of your colleagues – all are of a genuine benefit to your business.

The show gives you a unique insight into the latest thinking, the latest technology and the latest research, both from within the UK and internationally. As well as giving you this opportunity to gather information, the Royal Show performs another vital role. In one place, at one time, you are able to talk to people about your business, their business and the issues at hand. Youll have the chance to discuss new approaches with fellow farmers, find out whether a change of loan agreement could improve your cash-flow or talk to the supermarkets about produce quality, traceability and food safety.

The Royal gives you your chance to talk to colleagues, suppliers and customers and to use other peoples experiences to improve your business. This years Royal Show could prove more helpful and informative than ever. Use it to rise to the challenges and help you plan the most effective, profitable way forward for your business.

A warm welcome awaits you at Stoneleigh.
