F&M:ANAPPEALFORSPARECASH

FOOT-AND-MOUTH has had a major impact on British farms this year and its effect on many producers is far from over

To help those affected, the RABDF is adding its support to those most in need by running a collection during the Dairy Event and asking visitors to contribute what they can.

The days collection will be matched by RABDF and by principal sponsor HSBC. Money will be donated to the ARC Addington Fund which has already paid out over £7m to F&M victims. This has provided immediate support, helping to pay for food and living essentials.

Event visitors will be asked to spare some thought for those worst affected by F&M in a special one minute silence at the official opening. This will be held at 10.30am in Exhibition Hall 2, conducted by the Reverend Dr Gordon Gatward of the Arthur Rank Centre. &#42
