Facelift for grassland

GIVING permanent grassland a facelift is the aim of Coleman Enterprises Einbock undersower.

The Austrian-built rejuvenating machine is targeted at all-grassland farms which are heavily stocked and cannot afford to have large areas out of production at any one time.

"This tractor-mounted tool allows the farmer to patch up weak areas within a field without ripping up too much ground," explains Brian Coleman.

The restoration process is carried out using a combination of levelling plates, scarifying tines and floating rollers over which is mounted a grass seeding box. A choice of 1.5m, 2m and 3m (5ft, 6.5ft and 10ft) models are available and prices start from £3200. &#42
