Fanned fresh air

STALE air in many livestock buildings can be refreshed, claims Thermal Engineering Systems, with its Jetfan high velocity axial fan unit.

Developing up to 6000cu m/hour of airflow, the unit is said to be suitable for parlours, calf sheds, pig and poultry houses.

The Jetfans combination of smooth housing and moulded fan blades enables it to throw a narrow jet of air over a distance of about 27m.

A rotary misting unit can be added to the 240V powered fan, which costs £322 (01884-840216 ).
