Farmer heroes in river rescue
FARMERS John Grant, 27, and Kenny Hogg, 33, were hailed as heroes for rescuing Roberta Dunbar, 53, of Sighthill, Edinburgh, after her car skidded out of control and plunged from a bridge into a swollen river.
The car slid off a muddy farm road and crashed through a bridge before falling 15ft into the Cakemuir Burn, by Tynehead, Midlothian.
The farmers, of Blackcastle Farm, had to break the window on the front passenger door of the car before dragging her to safety.
