Farmer-turned-informer was IRA man
DUBLINS High Court heard yesterday that Sean OCallaghan, a farmer living close to the South Armagh border with the Irish Republic, was a senior member of the IRA.
The court heard he was responsible for the planning and sanctioning of terrorist attacks in Northern Ireland.
The convicted murderer and police informer named Sinn Fein leaders Gerry Adams, Martin McGuinness and Pat Doherty as among the terror groups most senior commanders in the mid-1980s.
