Farmers markets are ‘brilliant tool’
FARMERS markets are “a brilliant tool” for farmers to communicate directly with the public, according to one letters-writer to The Times.
The writer, who sells free range eggs and heather fed lambs at the Perth farmers market, believes the farmers are the only way she can see out of the current crisis.
“No farmer wants to go bankrupt, nor are we happy about asking the government for help.”
