Farmers urged to join crime web chat

Farmers are being encouraged to join a farm security web chat hosted by Cumbria police.

The online session takes place on Tuesday (26 April) between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.

The web chat will involve deputy chief constable Stuart Hyde from Cumbria Constabulary and the NFU north west regional director Robert Sheasby.

The session has been designed for farmers to ask questions, leave feedback or to share aspects of farming crime prevention advice.

All that is needed to join the web chat is an internet connection – there is no need to register.

Farmers will be able to post questions live in the meeting or ask questions privately.

Throughout the web chat farmers will receive tips, advice and information to help keep their home, farm and possessions safe.

Crime Prevention prizes will also be on offer throughout the web chat.
