Farming on agenda at WTO
THE World Trade Organisations ruling council meets in Geneva this week in the aftermath of the Seattle fiasco.
There ministers failed to reach an agreement and talks were overshadowed by environmental protests which paralysed the city.
High on the agenda in Geneva is the launch of mandated trade liberalisation talks about agriculture and services.
