Farming sows seeds of new industry
THE farming crisis is forcing a radical rethink on cultivation practices, reports The Guardian.
The newspaper considers a number of environmentally friendly ideas that are becoming money-spinners for farmers diversifying.
These include: growing hemp, for the German motor industry; using sheep wool for insulation; and growing willow trees for power stations.
