Farmings beacon Jubilee tribute

FARMERS will help the Queen celebrate her Golden Jubilee by contributing to a national chain of 600 beacons to be lit across the country.

The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution has invited farmers and their families to pay tribute to the Queen by lighting a fire on their farms on Monday, June 3.

"The aim is to allow farmers to make a unique contribution to the celebrations by providing a significant number of beacons that will be lit up and down the country," said Lord Plumb, RABI president. The charity has been chosen as one of Her Majestys nominated charities during her Jubilee year. &#42
