THE Womens Farming Union is branching out.

Many of the visitors to the WFU stand at the Great Yorkshire Show inquired about branches in their area and, as a result, WFU has arranged two inaugural meetings, one at the Scotch Corner Hotel at 7.30pm on Wed, Sept 27, and the other at The Hilton, Garforth, Leeds at 7.30pm on Thurs, Sept 28.

The purpose of the meetings is to form branches but each will be interesting events in themselves with speakers and light refreshments.

Anyone who wants to learn more about WFU is welcome to come along or to contact Win Alderslade (0191-4692464) or Barbara Scholefield (01422-244813).
