Then Leics-based Warwick Industrial Electronics may offer some help with its TX7120 Radio Telemetry Transmitter.

Designed to broadcast analogue, digital and pulse counter data, the transmitter can be used for monitoring operating states and conditions of equipment such as hydraulic circuits, irrigators and alarms.

The TX7120 can work at up to a 20km distance and is equipped with a digital display to show one analogue, one pulse counter and four digital inputs. Supplied complete with a battery, the TX7120 is priced under £300. (01455-233616)
