Farmers interested in anaerobic digestion have the opportunity to get first-hand practical advice at a series of free events being run by Reaseheath College in Cheshire.
The college has recently completed its own farm-scale AD plant running on cattle slurry and as part of the agreement for gaining its North West Development Agency funding, it is obliged to inform the industry AD through free “knowledge transfer” events.
Attendees will get a tour of the plant, with chance to discuss performance and lessons learned with the farm manager and other experts. The first tour will take place on 31 August and further events will be held monthly thereafter. For more information call 01270 613 195 or go to www.reaseheath.ac.uk/hub
