Fun and games as Devon
sees 1996 get under way
DEVON evening groups first meeting of 1996 was a great evening of parlour games at Upcott Barton, before and after a traditional FWC contribution supper for which each member takes a plate of food to share with the others.
There was much hilarity with the "tray" game (a form of Pelmanism) when some of us thought that the bull nose ring was a copper bangle. It was a good test for our memories but I dont think any of us got all the items.
In another game I was fortunate enough to have Beth Napper, our hostess for the evening, as my partner. The game was animal anagrams to test our brainpower and Im afraid I failed miserably!
