Go through draft maps with care

DRAFT maps showing land affected by right-to-roam legislation in Wales will be published next month. Landowners are warning farmers to be vigilant following complaints that similar maps of England contained mistakes.

Julian Salmon, of the Country Land and Business Association, said: "It is impossible to over-emphasise how important it is that Welsh farmers and landowners check draft maps with a fine tooth comb. If landowners do not make the effort to inspect these maps they will have to live with the consequences for years."
