More than 44,000 responses were submitted to the government’s consultation on proposals to reform farm support after the UK leaves the EU, says Defra. They include 20,000 responses sent in during the last week of the “Health and Harmony” consultation on the future for food, farming and the environment, which closed on Tuesday (8 May).
