Government gives rabies assurance
THE government has given assurances that the pilot schemes designed to allow Britons to travel within Europe with their pets would not allow rabies to enter the country.
Baroness Hayman, of the ministry of agriculture, told the House of Lords that the schemes were designed to combat loopholes.
