SHADOW Agriculture Minister Tim Yeo said the governments response to the House of Commons report on the pig industry indicated a lack of commitment to the industry.

“It is time for the government to stop dithering and recognise its responsibility to the UK pig industry,” he said.

“Unless it takes urgent action, the future of the pig industry looks bleak.”
