Guide pinpoints somatic cell count
HELPING farmers to pinpoint somatic cell count (SCC) problems, is the aim of a new guide from Schering-Plough.
"With NMR data showing that herd SCCs are continuing to rise nationally, demand for cell count management has never been higher," says Schering Plough product manager Sam Gayton.
The guide includes information on how to spot and treat high cell counts, improve parlour hygiene and practise dry cow therapy.
Copies of the guide, A Practical Guide to Cell Count Management, are available from Agribusiness Communications (01694-731777, fax 01694-731761).
