Hague slams Blair over CAP reform

TORY leader William Hague attacked Prime Minister Tony Blair over Britains European Union presidency.

He said the Prime Minister had promised to tackle the “cost and weight” of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), but fundamental reform was no closer.

He said that at the end of the six-month presidency “we are left with the cost and weight of the CAP continuing to grow year by year”.
