THE British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (BTCV) has published its latest edition of Fencing – a practical handbook.

Written by Elizabeth Agate, the book is one from a series on practical conservation which covers the design and construction of fences.

Topics in the book include the siting of fences, together with regulations, safety equipment and its organisation.

Other features include techniques for constructing post, wire and electric fences, anti-vandal devices and sand fencing.
