Hedgecutter has no-frills feeling
ROBUST construction without any "fancy" gadgets are the design principles behind the latest hedgecutter from Spearhead.
Coming in at the bottom end of the firms Twiga range, the Twiga 4 is a basic no-frills machine aimed at the smaller farm which prefers to cut its own hedges rather than use a contractor.
Although the £6665 baby Twiga is not available with the variable forward reach/single joystick operation of its more sophisticated stablemates, the cable-operated model does use the same 1.2m (4ft) wide head and overlapping, curved-blade cutting system. Side reach is 4.9m (16ft).
The Twiga 4 is designed for mounting on tractors of 50-85hp.
No frills for this base model in Spearheads Twiga hedger range, the Twiga 4.Price is £6665.
