‘Help protect Scots archaeology’

SCOTTISH farmers are being asked to participate in a new initiative aimed at preserving hundreds of undiscovered sites of archaeological interest, reports The Herald.

The initiative is being driven by Jonathan Wordsworth, agricultural adviser to the Council for Scottish Archaeology.

It is supported by the Scottish Agricultural College, the Scottish Landowners Federation and the Forestry Commission.
