DIRECTORS of the Royal Highland Show hope to raise £5m for showground improvements over the next five years.
Top priority will be improved accommodation for stockmen, followed by a new building to house cattle entries and a new permanent grandstand.
Chief executive Hywel Davies said the changes would provide a bigger complex for out-of-show lettings. And Mr Davies confirmed that the plan was a clear indication that the event would be staying at the Ingliston site for the fore-seeable future. *
