This is resulting in reluctant sellers as the market is awaiting further quality results and possible price adjustments.
The harvest is progressing well with a lack of rain recently helping crop development.
Some price weakness was reported for feed grains, however, market activity remains subdued given the early discouraging harvest results.
Malting barley exports are expected to be good this season with a shipment already reportedly gone to Chile.
