Iceland bans additives
ICELAND, the first supermarket chain to ban genetically modified (GM) food from own-label lines, is poised to announce a ban on artificial additives.
The company is expected to say today that it will ban all colourings and most preservatives from its own label food.
It also intends to spell out the health dangers posed by E-number additives.
