Input tax warning from NFUS
THE National Farmers Union of Scotland has warned the government of the danger to the horticultural sector from imposing pesticide tax and any further fuel tax.
Margaret Baillie, chair of the unions glasshouse and nursery working group, said many nursery operators were struggling.
Any further costs could only make their position worse.
