Investors cool on Aventis birth
FRENCH investors have given a cool reception to the birth of Aventis, the merger of Hoechst and Rhone-Poulenc.
The companies announced this week they were combining their pharmaceuticals and agro-chemicals businesses to create the worlds biggest life sciences company.
Rhone-Poulencs shares have fallen in Paris.
