Its the longest reeler… really

THE LONGEST-range, commercially available hose reeler, is the claim for a new unit from Spreadwise.

With a massive capacity of 2400m (2625 yards), the trailed Super 2400 should particularly appeal to contractors looking to spread slurry/water over a wide area – up to 1000ha (2500 acres), says the manufacturer.

The trailed unit comes on flotation tyres, and its eight hydraulically-powered reels are braked to reduce any risk of the "spinning flywheel" effect.

Measuring 610cm (20ft) long and 275cm (9ft) wide, the Super 2400 is priced from £8750.
