Its your cue for a

super trip to Kew

A CRUISE along the Thames and a visit to Kew Gardens has been arranged for members who can join us in London on June 9.

Meet us (Jean Howells and Farmlife secretary Maggie Peel) at Westminster Pier at 10.30am to board the MS Clifton Castle and enjoy the changing scenes as we travel up river to Kew. There will be plenty of opportunity to chat with old friends and make new ones as we go.

Sandwiches and coffee will be served on board so that there will be lots of time to have a leisurely stroll through the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew and study its unique collection of plants. A coach has been booked to take us back to London to catch our trains home, hopefully full of enthusiasm for improving the variety of flora in our own gardens!

This trip is also open to Farmlife readers who may be interested in becoming members of the Farm Womens Club.

The cost is £15 for members and £20 for non-members and includes Thames cruise, coffee and sandwiches on board, entrance to Kew Gardens (there is a concession on Kew entry charges for senior citizens so if this applies to you please deduct £2 from the quoted cost) and coach transfer back into London.

To book your place complete the coupon and send with full payment to arrive by May 12. Numbers are limited so applications will be treated on a first come, first served basis.
