John Deere had a chance to showcase its new 6030-series tractors, the first time many of the units will have been seen working in the UK.
The company also unveiled two new round balers, the 568 and 578 fixed chamber models.
Deere says that the bale chamber is a hybrid with rollers – at the front – and a chain and slat setup at the rear. This gives better results when working with slippery material such as barley straw.
The 578 is aimed at the contractor segment, featuring a 2.2m pickup and a strengthened driveline. It costs approximately £22,000.
