Just point it for the temperature

POINT and read: The operating instructions for a hand-held, non-contact thermometer capable of measuring from -10 to +300C (14F to 572F).

The TM-908, from Graham White Instruments (GWI), uses the infra-red energy that is radiated from the surface of all materials above absolute zero and converts it into a digital display reading. GWI claims an accuracy of  2C ( 3.6F).
