Keep foreign meat out

In spite of the epidemic, we are still not banning the import of meat/dairy products, either wholesale or by private individuals. Other countries in the EU and elsewhere are.

I raised this with my MP, Sir George Young, on 23 February, particularly about pig products, and his only comment was that to do so would break EU rules.

Surely at a time like this we must protect our own industry.
