Kelso show attracts big crowd

THE Border Union Agricultural Societys annual show at Springwood Park in Kelso attracted a large crowd at the weekend, reports The Herald.

Visitors were buoyed by news of better yields and prices for winter barley as well as the prospect of making a start to the spring crop later this week.
