A SCOTTISH farmer has been fined £2500 after being found guilty of failing to ensure that a bull which gored a man to death was kept behind a secure fence.
William Adamson was tried at Lanark Sheriff Court after a bull belonging to him broke through a field and attacked a water-worker, says the BBCs news website.
The worker was conducting sampling tests beside a field last year.
Mr Adamsons wife Margaret was also found guilty but was admonished.
