Kverneland stamps its mark on growing range

THE familiar Taarup and Kidd names are to disappear from the flanks of farm machinery now that Kverneland has decided to stamp its own identity on all products in its growing range.

The Norwegian manufacturer bought Danish firm Taarup two years ago to diversify into grassland products. It recently announced it would be marketing Kverneland bale wrappers previously sold in the UK by Volac.

Taarup purchased the Kidd Farm Machinery business in 1991 and many of the companys products – including forage feeders, manure spreaders and pasture toppers – continue to be made at the Devizes factory which has also become Kvernelands UK headquarters. &#42
