A huge blaze on a Scottish fire has destroyed 100t of straw bales and wrecked livestock housing.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to Langside Farm in Dalkeith, just south of Edinburgh, shortly before 1pm on Tuesday 4 March.
Working with the farmer, fire crews managed to move all the animals to safety while dealing with the additional hazards of a nearby shed containing fertiliser and high-voltage power line.
Scottish Power isolated the high-voltage power lines and fire crews managed to prevent the blaze reaching the fertiliser during a four-hour battle to bring the blaze under control.
Firefighters from Dalkeith, Musselburgh, Marionville, Liberton, Tranent, McDonald Road and Crewe Toll fire stations were all called to tackle the blaze.
